Explore network components, Ethernet, cabling and packet forwarding. Compare LAN, WAN, wireless and virtualised network concepts.

Calculate subnets, interpret addresses and configure interfaces. Verify reachability and diagnose addressing errors.

Configure VLANs, trunks, spanning tree and link aggregation. Review wireless architecture and access considerations.

Use routing tables, static routes and OSPF in sample networks. Troubleshoot path selection and connectivity.

Explore DHCP, DNS, NAT, time services, access control and device management. Apply basic hardening practices.

Interpret APIs and structured data at a foundation level. Use a systematic method to verify and troubleshoot network behaviour.
