Review spanning-tree approaches, link aggregation and redundant gateway concepts. Validate failover behaviour.

Explore OSPF and other relevant enterprise routing concepts. Interpret neighbours, routes and path selection.

Apply route filtering and policy decisions. Diagnose unintended route advertisements and policy interactions.

Evaluate port security, management protection and suitable filters. Document access and segmentation requirements.

Investigate combined routing and switching faults using structured evidence and verification steps.
